Building Your Author Website IN-Person Workshop, Part 2
After attending Part 1 to plan your author site, you will be ready to build. In collaboration with the Humanities Collaborative, this hands-on, in person session will help participants begin using the Library- licenced WordPress account to build a web site. We’ll focus on the practical work of shaping an author’s online presence: defining the site’s purpose, identifying key audiences, organizing essential pages, drafting core content, and making choices about design, platform, and maintenance.
If you can't make the entire two hours, feel free to drop-in when you can for some in-person assistance.
Participants will leave with a clearer site plan, a draft homepage or About page, and a practical next-step checklist for creating or revising their own author website.
