AI-Assisted Coding for Research: Introduction to Codex Online
Codex is an AI research programming assistant embedded within OpenAI’s ChatGPT. This interactive 1-hour workshop introduces researchers to the fundamentals of Codex and AI-assisted coding workflows. Participants will learn how Codex can support research activities such as data analysis, reproducible workflows, and code generation using natural language prompts. The session will include a brief overview of Codex capabilities, prompt-writing best practices, and practical examples relevant to academic and research. No advanced programming experience is required.
