Data Vis How-To Series: Microsoft Excel Online

Most of us are familiar with Microsoft Excel 365 as the most popular spreadsheet program used for data collection and management. What you may not realize is Excel 365 offers a wide variety of functions and capabilities useful for creating data visualizations. There are more then 20 different chart, plot, graph, and map types one can create within Excel. It is easy to combine visualizations into useful visual data dashboards. In this session, we look at how to use visual highlights within standard spreadsheets, how to create charts and graphs,  and how to build a dashboard. An example dataset will be provided ahead of time so attendees can follow along and practice afterward.
