The Good, Bad, Ugly, and Wrong: Discerning Effective Data Visualizations Online
Data visualizations can be very effective or very ineffective and sometimes blatantly wrong. This session will share basic principles of effective and ineffective data visualization along with some tips for success. We will review and discuss some examples of effective and ineffective visualizations. In addition, we will briefly explore some ethical and accessibility considerations related to the use of data visualizations.
