Generative AI: Where Are We At, Currently? Online

In this hopefully interactive learning session, we will explore the brief, vibrant history of public generative artificial intellgence, discussing some things we've learned and suggesting some possible future considerations. OpenAI's ChatGPT was introduced to the public in November, 2022. What has happened since then? How has our understanding of GenAI developed and evolved from that time to now? What is the current state of GenAI use in general and in higher education? Based on what we've experienced so far, can we anticipate any future directions and developments? I'd like to hear what your experiences have been with GenAI. Mics will be open :-)
