Geospatial Data Visualization Online

The use of geospatial data for research and application has grown dramatically in recent times. From environmental research, to health research. to building planning and more. Geospatial information, that is information related to specific geographic locations, is being used in numerous ways. This session provides a basic introduction to understanding geospatial data offers an overview of how the ArcGIS and QGIS software products can be used to visualize this type of information.  will introduce and briefly discuss using GIS software to explore geospatial data. Access/installation instructions and a dataset will be provided ahead of time for those interested in following along or exploring afterward.
