How-to Data Visualization: Data Vis with R and Python Online

R is a programming language commonly used for data analysis and visualization. Python is a commonly used general purpose programming language. Both offer programming libraries focused on data visualization creation. During this session, we will briefly discuss why you may choose to use a programming language for data visualization rather than some of the other tools. We will then demonstrate the basics of creating data visualizations in each language using specific applicable programming languages. Instructions for installation of tools along with demonstration data sets will be provided ahead of time for use during the session.
[This session is NOT a general programming instruction workshop for either language]
