What Do I Click? Basic Mechanics of ChatGPT.EDU and Microsoft Copilot Online

[This is NOT a SHARPGrads session]

If you've never used ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot or only tested them once or twice, this is the learning session for you. In this session, we will focus completely on the mechanics of how to use the campus-supported ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot GenAI chatbots. First, we'll emphasize the security benefits of using the campus versions. We will also compare functions available in the campus versions with those in the free, non-campus versions. We will cover how to login using your campus credentials. We will explore the interfaces and highlight key functionall items. We'll explain how to upload and work with files. We'll explain why you might use ChatGPT's temporary chat. We'll show where your chats history displays. We'll briefly describe what GPTs are in ChatGPT, which ones are available, and why you might want to use them. Finally, we'll touch on settings you can modify and use to customize your chatbot experience.
